Settling
Grounding
Low, settling tones for returning to the body.
About this intention
Grounding is the sense of arriving back in your own weight — feet, breath, the room around you. In listening practice it usually means low, unhurried pitch and very little movement in the sound, so there is nothing for attention to chase.
Why these frequencies
The pairings below come from Solfeggio teaching, modern wellness practice and the plain character of each pitch. They are cultural and experiential associations — described as they are practised, not as measured effects.
- 174 Hz
The lowest tone in the extended Solfeggio set, commonly described in modern sound-healing practice as foundational and body-settling.
- 396 Hz
Traditionally associated with release and solid ground in Solfeggio-based practices.
- 432 Hz
A tuning reference many listeners describe as wide and unforced; the preference is subjective rather than measured.
